A CALL FOR SHORT FILMS.
In partnership with INTERFILM BERLIN, FILM POSSIBLE is curating a distinctive short film program that will highlight Ugandan short films at the forthcoming INTERFILM 39 International Short Film Festival in Berlin. Scheduled to run from the 14th to the 19th of November 2023 under the SPOTLIGHT UGANDA theme, this prestigious festival draws film enthusiasts, industry experts, and media professionals from across the globe. It is also a qualifying festival for the Oscars.
SPOTLIGHT UGANDA presents an exciting opportunity for Ugandan filmmakers to exhibit their talent and ingenuity to an international audience. The program will feature short films of various genres, including fiction, documentary, and animation, with the aim of bringing attention to Uganda’s rich and diverse filmmaking culture. The program further seeks to provide a platform for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their films on an international stage, thereby gaining exposure to a wider audience.
Film Possible is cordially inviting Ugandan filmmakers to submit their short films for consideration to be included in this program. The opportunity is exceptional and offers an excellent platform to showcase the diversity of Ugandan filmmaking and promote the industry to a global audience.
